Centellax Signal Integrity Studio
Centellax Signal Integrity Studio (SIS) software allows you to easily control any number of Centellax instruments in simple remote control use or sophisticated multi-channel measurements. The base software is available free of charge (registration required for download). The Jitter tolerance measurement package is an option enabled by a software key. SIS is dependent upon low level Virtual Instrument Software Architecture (VISA), such the National Instruments (NI) VISA libraries found in the NI 488.2 installation or the Agilent I/O libraries. If the PC onto which SIS will be installed already has NI or Agilent I/O libraries installed, then they do not need to be installed again. For a link to the NI 488.2 installation, go to www.ni.com/drivers and click on the NI 488.2 link. Be sure to read the SIS Installation Guide for specifics on installing NI 488.2.
For communicating with Centellax instruments via USB, the FTDI VCP driver must be installed. If this is not automatically installed by the Windows OS via Plug And Play, it must be manually installed by the user. The FTDI VCP driver can be found at www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm.
