The Centellax TR1C1-A is a cost-effective 622MHz to 13.5GHz Clock Recovery Unit designed for signal integrity lab applications requiring multi-rate clock recovery. The CRU can be used for SFP, fiber, and other photonics applications where polarization mode dispersion changes the data period, and for other applications where degraded data requires data recovery and resampling. The TR1C1-A recovers a full-rate clock from a continually variable electrical serial NRZ input stream with datarates from 622Mbps to 7Gbps; the wide bandwidth option, TR1C1-A-OPT001, operates from 622Mbps to 13.5Gbps. Both units have differential inputs, a single-ended output, and a GPIB interface that allows automated use in a controlled lab environment. Both the Clock Recovery Units generate high quality clocks with very low jitter generation (residual phase noise). The CRUs have user-adjustable PLL loop bandwidth, and are incredibly easy to use with the autosearch function. The CRU is an excellent companion to the TG1B1-A: 10G BERT. |
