Product description

The PPG12500 is a 1-13 Gb/s single-channel Programmable Pattern Generator. Key features such as 24 Mbit user-programmable pattern memory and two-tap de-emphasis provide the capability for compliance testing in Backplane, Copper and Fiber applications e.g. PCIe, USB3.0, SAS, 802.3ap 10G Ethernet, and Displayport testing. The generator has integrated precision clock and data phase adjust to align the output waveform as desired.

The generator has 24 Mbit programmable pattern memory and flexible trigger output. The programming software has many telecom and datacom preloads ready, including CJPAT, CRPAT, K28.5, PRBS2^N-1 [N=7,9,10,11,15,23,29,31], etc. The generator differential output has fully adjustable output amplitude, crossover, DC offset, and two-tap de-emphasis.

All features can be controlled through the PPG12500 control panel or remotely through GPIB or USB. Labview drivers are available.

Centellax Signal Integrity Studio (SIS)

USB Drivers
The PPG12500 uses a hardware interface IC manufactured by Future Technologies Devices International (FTDI). VCP drivers are available for several operating systems at their web site: click here for more information.
NI labview drivers The following National Instrument LabView drivers are provided free of charge with no user license required. You may download, modify, and freely distribute the driver. Centellax offers no direct or implied warranty on the software; contact National Instruments for troubleshooting or compatibility concerns. The driver allows virtual instrument (VI) GUI control of the PPG12500 Programmable Pattern Generator and the TG1C1-A Clock Generator.
