 Centellax has recently developed a single-chip fractional-n synthesizer that was featured as the front-page article of Microwaves & RF. The frac-n synthesizer is still under product development; prototype SiGe single-chip units have excellent performance from 10-15GHz and 20-30GHz, with I and Q outputs. This single-chip solution reduces total system cost, size, and power, while maintaining the desired performance. Applications:

The MC39R46M is a SiGe Clock Recovery Unit (CRU) that can also be used as a general-purpose Clock Multiplier Unit (CMU). This CMU function of this module allows extending the frequency range of low-frequency synthesizers.
