Centellax, a leading supplier of high-speed analog semiconductor products for optical communications and RF/Microwave applications, today announced a new Vice President of Sales for their Components Division, Jay de la Barre.

Mr. de la Barre brings more than 25 years of experience in semi conductor sales and strategic accounts management. This addition to the Centellax leadership team puts the company in position to continue its accelerated growth path in optical communications.

As Vice President of Sales, de la Barre is responsible for the direction and management of Centellax component sales operations worldwide. He most recently held the position of VP Sales at GigOptix. Prior to GigOptix, he held management positions at Sierra Monolithics (Semtech), Vari-L (Sirenza/RFMD), and Sterling Electronics (Avnet). Throughout his career he has demonstrated success in consistently growing revenues and margins, building strong customer relationships, and solidifying market share.
