SANTA ROSA, CALIF.----August 19, 2010—
Centellax Inc., announced today that their OA4MVM4, a 44G modulator driver amplifier, has been released to production. The OA4MVM4 was designed to be used in 40G DPSK telecom transponders used in long-haul optical links. It is the smallest modulator driver available in the market capable of driving a 7V single ended MZ modulator. The OA4MVM4 is the newest addition to the family of modulator drivers Centellax offers to satisfy customer requirements for compact size, large voltage output and excellent performance.
Key features of the OA4MVM4 include:
- Smallest form factor available (approximately 1.156” x .99”)
- Large voltage output for DPSK applications
- Broad bandwidth over 44.6Gb/s
- Excellent rise time and jitter performance
