News Release
SANTA ROSA, CALIF.----February 2008----Centellax Inc. a manufacturer of low-cost, high-performance, components and test solutions, has moved its headquarters to a new larger facility.
In December, Centellax left its 10,000-square-foot location on Aviation Boulevard near the Charles M. Schultz-Sonoma County Airport and moved to an 18,500-square-foot space in the same business park, with an option of growing into an additional 15,000 square feet.
Centellax delivers high-performance test instruments, test accessories and electronic components for high-speed communication and signal integrity applications worldwide. Its portfolio has grown from a single component to more than 40 products sold in three different lines of business.
"We’ve been profitable for over a year, and our revenues are up 65 percent over last year’s,” said Dr. Perdomo, CEO and President, who expects similar growth in 2008. “We are currently hiring and are looking for talented engineers and technicians," he said.
Centellax plans to launch several new products during 2008 directed at 10G, 40G, and 100G markets. The company is well-prepared to support 40GbE (40-Gigabit Ethernet); they have been offering SONET OC-768 test instruments and components since 2002. They are also enabling 100GbE (100-Gigabit Ethernet) with physical-layer test instruments and modular building block components at 14Gbps, 28Gbps, and 56Gbps.
Will Sitch, Director of Sales states, "We are very excited about the products under development. They will address new applications in our target markets, and the feedback we’ve received from customers who have evaluated our prototypes is excellent. Our low-cost PRBS generator and BER tester are really gaining traction due to their broad operating rates."
Centellax plans to give a sneak-preview of several new products at the upcoming OFC/NFOEC tradeshow in San Diego. You can visit them at booth#1450 for product demonstration.
A primary feature of these new Centellax clock synthesizers is the ability to synchronize up to four BERT (TG1B1-A) testers for use in four-lane components, such as XAUI, Infiniband cabling, Xenpack optical modules, and more.
