SANTA ROSA, October 2006 - Centellax Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance low-cost test solutions, announces the release of a new modular 40G (BER) test system intended for device characterization, research and development testing, and general 40G lab use.
The test system enables physical-layer BER testing of a DUT with operating rates from 22-44Gbps. The system features differential connections to the DUT, multiple low-rate synchronized clock triggers, excellent output eye quality, optional 7Vpp output amplitude, and GPIB control on the error detectors. Centellax offers a standard one-year warranty on the modular test components, with an extended warranty available. According to Rohit Bhasin, Centellax Worldwide Sales Director, "this is just the right system for a university that is doing 40G research. We have several universities that are currently testing this system, and are very pleased with the results."
