Solutions for 10GbE, SONET OC-192,
and other 10G Applications

Applications in the 9.85-11.35 Gb/s range include 'datacom' standards, like LAN 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) at 10.3125 Gb/s, and 10-Gigabit Fibre Channel (10GFC) at 10.5188 Gb/s. Other 'telecom' standards include SONET/SDH OC-192/STM-64 and 10GBASE-W at 9.953 Gb/s, and ITU-T G.709 at 10.709 Gb/s. Of course, all of these standards operate at higher data rates with Forward Error Correction (FEC) overhead: ITU-T G.975 FEC at 10.664 Gb/s, 10GbE FEC at 11.1 Gb/s, and 10GFC FEC at 11.3 Gb/s.

Centellax enables physical-layer testing for all of these standards with a modular collection of broadband test instruments. All of our test equipment covers multiple datarates - that's why our parts use the ambiguous '10G' identifier - and can be combined together to perform advanced functions.
