Applications in the 9.85-11.35Gbps range include 'datacom' standards, like LAN 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) at 10.3125Gbps, and 10-Gigabit Fibre Channel (10GFC) at 10.5188Gbps. Other 'telecom' standards include SONET/SDH OC-192/STM-64 and 10GBASE-W at 9.953Gbps, and ITU-T G.709 at 10.709Gbps. Of course, all of these standards operate at higher data rates with Forward Error Correction (FEC) overhead: ITU-T G.975 FEC at 10.664Gbps, 10GbE FEC at 11.1Gbps, and 10GFC FEC at 11.3Gbps.
